I’d heard about Drug City Pharmacy and Liquor and finally had to see it for myself—and I’m glad I did. This place is a hidden gem in Baltimore. The selection is impressive, with everything from everyday staples to harder-to-find bottles. The staff was friendly, fellow patrons were plesant (I mean...it is called Charm City) one lady told me that "Moonshine is just what the doctor ordered". Nice vibe from the moment I walked in. One thing to note: allocated bourbons are available for purchase, but only if you have a Drug City Customer Card with points—a nice perk for regulars. Even without the card, there’s still a strong selection to choose from. What really stood out to me was their regional variety. I spotted bottles from distilleries in Pennsylvania, Maryland, D.C., and even New Jersey—Lock, Stock & Barrel among them. If you’ve got some time on your hands and enjoy the hunt for good whiskey or just want to explore a solid local liquor store with character, it’s worth the trip. Check them out.

Efficient and friendly staff upfront. Pharmacist is very friendly, helpful and of course knowledgeable. Store is always clean and the fountain looks like a great place to eat although I still need to try it out.

Fantastic pharmacy. CJ is the best in keeping your prescriptions organized and on a monthly schedule. I cannot recommend enough this place is a hidden gem. I don’t wanna tell too many people about it because it’s crowded enough. I have been going there ever since I was a child.

Why haven't I been here sooner?? My husband and I spent several hours at Drug City, perusing the liquors, the general store, and then enjoying food, drinks, and several pours of bourbon. The liquor store has an amazing selection of whiskey + pretty solid options for both tequila and beer. Rum options weren't diverse enough for tiki cocktails, but it will do the job for the average buyer. We left with a cartful of bottles. My husband and I split a Reuben + milkshake. The sandwich hit the spot. The chocolate malt milkshake was to DIE for + the homemade chips were shockingly good! I tried the cowboy ranch flavor at staff's recommendation + love that the chips were really generously seasoned. I can't wait to come back + try more flavours. Prices on the food and drinks within the eatery are also fantastic. I would say that the pours are probably more worthwhile than cocktails themselves though since they have an awesome selection for you to choose from. For the Old Fashioned cocktails, I think the Classic is better than the Drug City version, just in terms of better balance. I know so many people who would love this establishment, so I'm excited to drag them all here with me so I can visit again and again. / recommend.
